We want every round at Belmont Lake Golf Club to be enjoyable, for your group and for the groups around you. These guidelines help keep play moving so everyone gets the full experience of the course.
Pace of Play
Our stated pace of play for a foursome playing 18 holes is 4 hours and 10 minutes. All players are asked to keep to this pace. We understand that a group will occasionally fall behind, and when that happens we expect an effort to get back on pace. In all cases, a round of 18 holes should not exceed 4 hours and 10 minutes.
Hole-by-Hole Target Times
The same chart is posted on every golf cart. Times are measured from your tee time.

If Your Group Falls Behind
- A member of our staff will first ask your group to catch up to the target time.
- If your group has not caught up within a reasonable period, you may be asked to skip a hole or let faster players play through.
Let Faster Players Through
For the enjoyment of all players, please be considerate and allow faster groups to play through, even if your group is on pace.
Tips for Keeping Pace
- Check in at the golf shop a little early so your group is ready on the first tee at your tee time.
- Play “ready golf.” Hit when you are ready and it is safe, rather than waiting on honors.
- Choose the set of tees that fits your game. With five sets of tees, there is a good fit for every golfer. See the scorecard for yardages.
- Keep an eye on the group in front of you, not the group behind you.
- Park carts near the next tee and record scores at the next tee, not on the green.
